At
Aireko, we are dedicated to the ongoing professional and leadership
development of our people. We realize our
vision of being a leading company in training and professional
development by offering the following programs to our employees:
Quality for Business Success (QBS)
QBS is a local
company that provides research and management consulting services
in the area of organizational development. Since
the late 1990’s, Aireko has teamed up with QBS to maintain
high quality of work in our culture at all times. As a
result of this effort, we launched Aireko Corporate University,
which is a program focused on human resources development.
Its curriculum
includes a Supervisory Development Program that consists of seven
modules. The purpose of said program is
to further enhance the management skills of our supervisory and
managerial personnel. Additionally, Aireko Corporate University
curriculum offers an Emotional Intelligence training program, which
aids trainees to understand concepts related to emotional intelligence
and practice necessary skills for personal development. This
program is comprised of a testing session, three educational
modules and personalized consulting sessions for the development
of work plans.
Continuing Education
Aireko provides continuing education
opportunities to its people. We
identify employees with outstanding potential and sincere interest
in furthering their professional development and sit down with
them to jointly create a personalized professional development
plan. This plan may incorporate the start of a university
education or continuing education courses at university level,
and professional education to provide Aireko professionals with
the most up to date information needed to improve their job performance.
Internal
Multidisciplinary Leadership Groups
At Aireko, we’re
not only committed to the ongoing professional development of our
employees, but also to the learning of specialized knowledge. In
addition to the Supervisory Development Program, our professionals
in our different construction trades convene by trade committees: civil,
electrical and mechanical. Each
committee is lead by the trade expert, where leadership changes
are encouraged annually to foment new leadership skills and approaches. Each
trade committee is in charged of maintaining its members up to
date with technical knowledge, skills, regulations and/or applicable
laws. Periodic meetings are held where
seminars, workshops and discussions of trade specific topics
are offered.
Aireko develops and builds multidisciplinary
projects and thus pay particular attention to the development
of comprehensive planning and administrative work plans. Promoting
camaraderie and collaboration among specialists of each trade
is a fundamental component of the program.
