The three-story reinforced concrete library structure has architectural concrete components and a clay-tile roof system.  The four-story concrete and steel student center structure incorporates an innovative reinforced concrete inverted truss and pre-cast concrete panel systems to support the various auditorium, gym, cafeteria and classroom functions of this multipurpose building.  Both projects were built in the middle of the San Juan campus with careful planning and logistics that avoided disturbances to the day-to-day university operations.
