REEF / Cougar Catamarans is recognized
worldwide as a leader in catamaran design having produced Catamarans
in fiberglass and aluminum since 1969. Our Catamarans have been
exported to many areas including the United States of America,
China, Europe, most South East Asia, India & Pacific Countries.
The REEF design for Catamarans with its fine entry and deadrise hulls incorporating scalloped bows, rounded underwing and with centre wave-break providing superior sea keeping performance and stability to conventional mono hull vessels. The REEF Catamarans manufacturing is taken place in Ceiba Puerto Rico , the home of catamarans which provides the ideal location and climate for the fiberglass construction utilized in our catamarans
Although we specialized in commercial models, REEF Catamarans has utilized the vast experience gained from building high speed commercial use catamarans to introduce a new range of inboard powered leisure models specially for the high end enthusiast.
REEF Catamarans is the only company certifying vessels for commercial use with USCG standards in Puerto Rico and one of the few the United States.

MARKET OPPORTUNITIES
East: Puerto Rico is an island 35x100 surrounded by beautiful keys and small
islands. The Spanish Virgin Islands remain as two places with the lesser tourist
visits among all other virgin islands, mostly due to lack of transportation.
Culebra reefs, Vieques outstanding fishing, beaches, ports, marine species, luminescent
bays, among others, provides a unique attraction only accessible through marine
excursions.
North: San Juan bay has the highest concentration of people in PR.
A strong concentration of local and visitors alike walk the streets of Condado
and San Juan on a daily basis looking for good entertainment. Sunset Charters
has unique concepts for this and similar bay areas.
South: Outstanding fishing
and natural bays excellent for exploration trips. Different concepts available
for Guayama, Salinas, Santa Isabel, Ponce.
